I thought that a person can roll over there purchased effect plug-ins from 12 to 15 no problem. I seem to not be able to? Nothing shows up in the effect area except for the free crap they load on from Pinnacle...

Yes I did... I have had no problems before this with st 10-12 ultimate? All the effects that I used on St. 12 are gone. All I have now are the laim stock red giant crap???

If I'm not mistaken, you can have both Studio 12 and Studio 15 installed on the same system. That will be the only way to use many of the Studio 12 bonus content as most will not work with Studio 15--you have to buy them AGAIN. Ugh.

There are some workarounds, but they didn't work very well for me.

I would suggest keeping both Studio 12 and Studio 15 on the same system so you can use Studio 12 if you need those particular addons for a project.

I am curious, what did not transfer over and what is now missing?

I have all my compatible NewBlueFX, and Hero working fine. 

I know one time I had problems with everything showing up. Since my Pinnacle purchases have all be "upgrades" I reinstalled S10.8 all the way to S14 Ultimate. I did a full install of S15UC and it found everything and moved it over. I did not uninstall any previous version because I would not know specifically what would happen to S15UC. 

One thing I did do was check to see with there updates to my NewBlue stuff and there were. When I installed them, I was asked which NLE's I would like to install them to. Same with proDAD.
