Is this possible?

    Is this possible?

I have Pinnacle Studio 12. I would like to create a menu that will allow the user/audience to choose whether to listen to the movie with or without sound. I am creating a Highlight tape for my senior year of football. When I send out the the tapes to colleges I would like them to be able to choose whether they listen to the version with a song or without, but without making different DVD's for them all. I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: Is this possible?

If the disc is short enough (45 minutes or less?), it's simple -- just put 2 copies of the project on the timeline, one with, one without.

No, it's not possible otherwise in Studio...You'd have to go to a pretty sophisticated disc authoring utility to do that sort of thing.

How would I create a title that allows them to choose which they want to watch? The whole video itself is like 7 minutes.

    Re: Is this possible?

You'd add a MENU to your project, and let them choose between (say) 2 CHAPTERS.  Adding a Return To Menu flag at the end of each clip will keep it from "playing through" both clips.

There's a Studio 14 tutorial here that should help you figure out what you'll need to do in S12.
