Following up on my sudden PAL->NTSC issue I had, I recreated the project (it has stayed proper NTSC thankfully) and went to burn it to File first (VIDEO_TS and .ISO) with the DL format (8.7g).  I have tried with Automatic Quality and also Best Quality and when the Make Movie process is finished the end result is a 10G image (ISO or VIDEO_TS files) which is too big..............

 

The Make Movie screen shows DVD G: 8.5GB Available 13mins Used: 183 mins Quality 100%.

The final product is always 10G which is too big............how do I get this down to an 8.7G size?

I found I could turn down the bit rate and that worked - I didnt want to do that at first as I had problems in the past (Prob S10 or S11).  Its weird the S14 could not calculate the size correctly though?

 Final DVD burned finally though...........

From what I have gathered, the estimate includes render files which adds to the bulk of the project itself. Thanks for the update.

Goochman, are you saying that you have been able to successfully burn a DL disc with S14?  There are a number of users here who have been waiting for that news.

What brand of DLs did you use?  Also curious how long your project is, and whether it includes anything unusual such as picture-in-picture, sound effects, soundtracks, and menus. Thanks.
