On a few still photos that I use the Pan and Zoom tool on, there is a squeeze from the sides distoration that lasts for about 3 frames.  I have not been able to determine the cause or uniqueness of the photos that this occurs on.  I can delete the phote from the timeline and add it back and the distoration still appears.  Any suggestions?  This was a project I started with S12 and am trying to finish with S14.

I have recreated the defect with a one still project.  This is one of the stills that was giving me a problem in a new project I started with S14UC.  The still is a 640x480 JPG file.  It seems I can make the "twitch" change locations in the pan zoom by changing the starting and ending zoom.  See what it looks like //video.yahoo.com/watch/6366280/16513306

I had a similar problem recently. It was the result of a tiny transition hidden in one of the tracks, which could not be seen except at the highest timeline expansion. You might check again to see if there is anything "under" the photo.

Thanks for the idea but that's not it.  I checked and no hidden transition.  This was a brand new project with only that still. I even removed the transitions before and after the still and moved the still to the title track.  Still had the the "twitch" at 00:00:1.18 time frame.  It only lasts for 1 frame and goes back to normal at 00:00:1.19. 

Another report of the same sort of thing?
