Hi all

I currently use avid liquid on a desktop PC, everything runs fine. However i'm possibly looking into editing on a laptop (on the move a lot) and wondered if anyone can recommend a decent machine that would run liquid comfortably?

I have been running Liquid 7 on a Asus Z96s laptop for the last 2 years and it is great to be able to take my editing system with me. There were some initial concerns with running everything on 1 drive, but I really have had no issue. The OS is XP Home 32 bit.

My laptop is a Core 2 Duo 2.0 gig, 2 gig ram, 320MB hard drive, 15.4" 1680x1050 lcd display.

When I am at home I connect up a 1TB usb2.0 external drive that I use for storage, but everything runs quick and fine. I am myself looking into getting another newer laptop but the prices for a i7 processor unit is beyond what I want to spend so I might look into getting a desktop so I can be doing a few thigns at once while I am capturing and such.
