How to burn DVD from rendered image

I apologize for this basic question, but had trouble finding and had trouble viewing FAQ (btw, moderator, keeps saying it can't find the page - maybe just me??)

My question:  making a photo slide show to burn to DVD.  Will make multiple copies now and more in future.  I would like to save the image and then burn later.

What is the easiest way to accomplish this in Studio 12?

    Thanks!

The easiest way?  IMO, it's to use the disc-burning software that came with your computer/your drive to do the duplication.  Burn a "master", review the "master" on a couple of players, then start copying from that "master".  But that's just me.

Otherwise (when it works): "Create disc contents but don't burn" in Studio, and then a separate "burn disc from previously created content" might do the trick.

The reason you're likely having FAQ problems:   Avid changed their FAQ system, and unfortunately did not attempt to do anything "nice" to forward, redirect, or otherwise simply inform the people who still click on links in the webboard that point to old FAQs.  So, you click on what was once a working, legitimate link, and now all you get is an error message.  Angry

Another way is to download IMGburn (freeware) and use its feature to write image to disc.
