Don't mean to put you on the spot, but that "classic" gem was from Alley. Hollgo did some wonderful clips though.

I voted.....finally.  It was hard.  I closed my eyes and just picked.  Everyone should be a winner IMHO.

There is mucho talent in this group.  I can learn a lot here.  Yes

Going back through the 'classics' really shows how our Pinny has evolved.  He is quite the worldly man with a dark, cuddly, funny side.  Hey, he would be the perfect boyfriend for Kayla!  Devil

I hope we got a good voter turnout.  Anyone know?

Looking forward now to the wrap up party ............................CakeDrinksPizzaCakeRight HugDrinksBeer

Hi Colour, Liz, and all other Pinhead fans...

Sorry I've been absent, and not helping with the cheering and pep talks.  I've been unusually busy and have barely had time to read the posts, let alone do some posting of my own.

I understand "the committee" is hard at work (honest!) on the Golden Pinhead awards.  I can't wait.  They have always done a great job, and I'm sure this will be no exception.

HI PinPals! Now airing the Fourth Annual Golden Pinhead Awards. Enjoy!

Sorry for the no warning, but busy, busy, and all that.

Congratulations to the committee for another job well done!
And from me too!! Great entertainment & a real treat, to round-off yet another Golden Pinhead Awards Project.

Special thanks to all those who spent many hours on their Clips, in the pursuit of excellence, to entertain us all. And to all who participated. After-all, it's the partiipation that counts.

I'm not quite sure who won what, since:

    1) My speakers are on the blink.

    2) My headphones are on the blink.

    3) I'm deaf.

I'll watch the Awards again at full blast, when my neighbo(u)rs aren't around.

    Re: Pinhead Group Project

When we start a Pinhead contest, we always say that the participation, camaraderie, and enjoying everyone's videos are the best parts of the activity.  As a non-winning participant, I can still make that claim.  I enjoyed making my short little entry, and even though I never figured it would be a contender for a prize (other than a possible lucky drawing), it was exactly what I was trying to achieve, and in that way I am still very happy with it.

As the other entries started to roll in, I was amazed as I am every time.  The variety in styles and stories is amazing.  The talent, stunning.

"Thank you" to EVERYONE who participated, and THANK YOU once again to the committee for all your hard work.  It's too bad the awards ceremonies you produce aren't eligible entries since they are truly worthy in their own right.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners - those judged on merit by the committee, voted for by their peers, and luck of the draw.

(Is it too soon to start looking forward to the next one?)

    Re: Pinhead Group Project

thanks Dennis. I'm sure everyone on the committee appreciates your comments, as well as everyone else's of course.

We strive to put on a good awards show. And then we kick ourselves in our collective butts for trying to do all this stuff in such a short time frame. We know we could just say 'here's your award, have a nice day' but it's so much more fun to do an official presentation. Party!!!

We haven't discussed the next one. Or maybe they have and just left me out of it Stick out tongue we'll see what comes down the road. A few good ideas from the 'seething masses' of humanity out there wouldn't hurt Wink

    YEE HAW !!!!

Just when you think that "The Committee" can't possibly outdo themselves, look at the AMAZING, FANTASTIC, STUPENDOUS, SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCHES, (need I go on?) awards ceremony they come up with to dazzle us all??  And in such a short time for all of us impatient (who me?) Pinhead addicts too!!!

My hat is off to "The Committee" for yet another superb and entertaining awards ceremony to top off another thrilling Pinhead project.

And here is a hearty YEE HAW and CONGRATULATIONS to all of the prize winners who are taking home a very cool prize and coveted GPA (Golden Pinhead Award).  All of the entries are winners and it made voting one of the most difficult things to do.  But being a part of the Pinhead crowd is great and I'm proud to be there.

Wanna know the best thing ????   There WILL be another project !!!!  YIPPEE !!!

Where do I sign up? Stick out tongue

    Well better late than never.

Today I finally found a computer fast enough to stream 512 kbs. to watch the "Golden Pinhead Awards". They were Great, Great, Great.

"The Committee" made an excellent and intertaining award ceremony. I smiled all the way through. Thank you Committee for my "winter pack award". I will use it proudly next winter while buried in snow.

Can't wait until next time.  Jerome

    Re: Pinhead Group Project

Well, an official congratulations to all the winners is long overdue.  So, great job everyone - we thoroughly enjoyed all the entries.  The creativity of everyone always astounds us.Big Smile

    A quick update on prizes.

    a) Pinnacle prizes info has been given to them and they have acknowledged receipt - I would expect prizes would be shipped out this week.

    b)  Prodad Winners - I got confirmation Friday that the list has been received and I am told I will be informed sometime this week regarding the shipping - so I will let you know.

    c)  Reallusion Winners - prize designations have been acknowledged...just waiting for confirmation that the points have been awarded to the winners.

The committee will be taking a break for a while.  Perhaps we shall have a mini-contest again, late summer/Fall and then something a little more grand either later in the year or early 2010.

    We shall keep you posted.

Project ideas are always welcome.  I believe some ideas were put forth in the voting questionnaire, and we will review these at some point and maybe even throw some of them out for comments.

Thanks again for everyone who participated and helped with the cheerleading. Big Smile

Alley. You absotively have to have another one ! I have been so darn busy I just recently got back to reading some of the posts in the forum. I have not been able to get involved with the last few (heck, last time I was in was during the World Tour) ...but I think it is time for Pinhead to clear himself of canoe theft charges. Give us old folks another chance !

Hi John, good to see you :)

We will probably do something on a small scale in Sept and then plan a more substantial project for the new year.  But the committee has been taking a little time off.  But, we shall re-convene very soon.

Glad to hear you are still interested. Big Smile

Thanks. I has been a while. I have a few ideas I have been kicking around. Seems like every time I started though, work reared it's head. Given the state of the economy however, I can't complain about that too much ! I will try to maintain better  contact with the forum though. Where else do you meet such great people !!? Internationally even !

Thanks Alley. The committee needs a break from what I have been able to see.

(How could a person NOT be interested in Pinhead?)
