Could anyone please help? I am using the Windows 7 RC OS with S12.1U. If I try to use vitascene the screen starts to act up for example, menus will have the edge border but the wording buttons are just black thus I cannot read the information. I have updated the Nvidia drivers (for W7) and updated Prodad but I still get the problem.

Is anyone else getting this and if so how did you cure it? Any help would be appreciated!

Since VitaScene is a 3rd Party Plugin, IMO, you need to check proDAD's Website that it's compatible with W7.

While I also think it's a ProDad Vitascene problem, I also experience the same problem and have no cure yet

GUI elements in Vitascene black - but also in other applications when I switch to other applications, even affecting e.g. Windows TaskManager, Windows StartMenu etc.

Studio 12.1 Ultimate with Vitascene 1.0.43

 I just received the solution from ProDAD Support and verified it's working - it's about disabling the Aero Glass effect (?) prior to starting Pinnacle Studio 12.

Sorry for only supplying the german steps here - my Windows 7 is german language only. In general, go to the visual effect settings of Windows:

Disable Checkbox for "Desktopgestaltung aktivieren"

I have unticked the desktop compositon option in Windows 7  but vitascene still will not work. The Pinnacle version works fine, but if you upgrade to the full version and apply the windows 7 service pack Vitascene won't start.

I have found a problem with heroglyph as well, cant upgrade to the full version in Windows 7.

No it does not solve my problem I have tried it and still a no go with vitascene full version, Studio version works fine but can't upgrade to full version.
