Burning to Dvd footage over 90 mins

    Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help me?. I have Pinnacle 11.2 on my machine and for the first time I have tried to make a dvd that is over the "normal" dvd parameters. It is compiling this at 72% but doesnt seem to burn, (Normally it makes a dvd with few probs). I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? -  I am compiling this at best quality for disk.

Does this mean that you have manually selected Best Quality?

Have you changed the quality setting to Automatic? At Best quality (no compression), a single layer DVD will hold about 68 minutes of video. Setting the quality to Automatic will allow Pinnacle to compress the video to fit the DVD.

Yes, I have set this to automatic, I was wondering does it have to recompress the movie?. It seems to just stall after the first compression ?. I am thinking also off getting dual layer dvds  - does this mean that it will not compress? and I can have 100% quality?

    Thanks

    Joe

You'll get more coverage if you Post in the correctWink "Make Movie" Forum rather than here, which is for non-technical Posts.

If you use dual layer disk, it will burn at 100% quality however some dvd players have a problem playing dl disks.
