Hi! I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make a DVD with an aspect ratio of 16:9 instead of 4:7 with Pinnacle Studio Plus 11. It seems that 4:7 is the standard, and I don't know how to change that. Is it even possible?

You need to start your project with 16:9 settings. Then the DVD will be produced in a 16:9 format. Have a look in Setting/project preferences.

What format is the original material?

I tried to change the settings in the project preferences. I changed it to HD 1920 x 1080/60i. I guess that is widescreen? But it didn't affect the aspect ratio on the DVD. The material is some pictures, some text and video filmed with a widescreen camera.

Did you start a new project after altering the setting? Hover you mouse over the project name top left of the timeline. A tooltip will pop up with the current project settings. What are they?
