21-81 BETA upgrade -> 2x SC200 responding slow

I've upgraded my 2x SC200 to 21-81 BETA but this results in both of them being VERY slow

It takes 4-5x longer just to get is started and navigation is much slower and the most important probelm is that skipping does not work properly as for example @ 80% it skips to 85% instead to 81%

I now downgraded one of them and it is much faster again... only now I am missing the dolby downmix option.... how do I enable this again?!

I didn't notice much of a slowdown with the new firmware, but since I don't have 2 machines to compare side-by-side, that may be just because I don't have anything to compare it to.

Skip works OK for me with MTPCenter and UPnP. What server are you using?

Also, for the Dolby downmix: If you're using the Pinnacle server, there is an unlock that you can do through the server itself. If you aren't using the Pinnacle server, there is this workaround.
