Do unlock codes not work in perpetuity?

I just did an O/S reinstall and find that the unlock codes for MJPEG activation and upgrade to PS9-Plus don't work. Now what?

If you have done an O/S reinstall and then installed Studio you will probably have to re-register your software to get certain functions to work because your Studio Passport number will probably have changed.
Registration is free and is found under the Help menu.
If you have also previously purchased any "Activation Keys" these are yours in perpetuity, but you may have to re-generate them for the new install. Regeneration is also under the Help menu and as long as you still have the same email address as when you last generated them then you should not have a problem. Again, as they have been previously purchased then regeneration is free.
Try going to Help - Regenerate Activation Keys, in Studio, and read the information there and see if that helps.

If you are still having problems after the above, post back again

Did live chat and they gave me some new keys that work. I logged just as a PS11 user.  I saw that they theoretically don't support PS9 any longer but I guess they know if they tell you "sorry, no can do" they're likely going to lose a customer.

Next step is to copy the Pixie folder and save it, apparently if you preserve that it keeps whatever you've unlocked under the previous O/S install.

Or using your new passport number via Help > My Passport, you can request for new keys here.

Tried that, got a "We don't find a purchase of activation keys in our records" message or something to that effect. I assume because I originally registered under a different e-mail address and am unable to login under that old address, don' t remember the password and "send me a new password" won't work because the address is no longer valid.

Looks like you have got thngs under control Yes.

Yes, backing up your Pixe folder would be be a good thing, now that you have everything working again.

I see. In that case, maybe you can ask Marc P or any moderator to change your email to the new one.
