Now, I consider Cyberlink PowerDirector 8 better in some ways, but Pinnacle Studio SUPER MUCH MUCH BETTER!!! in other ways.

I have notice that Pinnacle Studio's environment is Unique!!! why?

Is understandable that Pinnacle Studio is not a Professional software as some others like Final Cut, Avid Xpress, Sony Vegas, etc. but the environment that Pinnacle Studio possess is Very Very Easy to learn and dominate, something Cyberlink PowerDirector software doesn't have. Now, I have notice that Cyberlink PowerDirector 8 brings something I would like Pinnacle to have and is the following features:

 

Cyberlink in the timeline view brings:

Pinncale have them in one track. Let's say you have 5, or 6, 7 in the multilayer feature, but you cannot experiment creativity in separate tracks because all of then are in the same track. What about if you want to animate or add transitions to each of them by separate? Good Point Right? Well compared to older versions, let me tell you that this 12 version came SUPER. NOW, The environment is EXCELLENT, I think that the looking should not be change. Few things like adding Much More PIP/Video tracks individual to the timeline to edit lots of videos at the same time separated (not in one layer/track) in individual tracks. Another aspect should be considered is the Texts or Titles. They should be 3D with the capabilities of adding bewels, more 3D, that you can include in the program the possibilities of making visual effects more Real, more 3D, like Metalic Titles. (use as example Ulead Photo Express 6.0 Texts, and RealDraw Pro 5.0) With this features added to the Pinnacle Studio software I guaranteed You the sales would rain, not Cyberlink, not other program will beat it. Also to make it perfect is the Vista looking environment that Cyberlink have, is like Black shining looking user interface. Doesn't have to look like Cyberlink but look at Cyberlink PowerDirector 8 and will notice what I mean.

 

And Finally, the last point is the Video Quality (High Definition Looking)Cyberlink Quality is Much superior. This is something that should be corrected. You're doing Good!!! but still have to Work a little more on it. However Guys you Do I will always buy your Pinnacle Studio software. But would like it MUCH BETTER, I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!  Please take this notes the possitive way: The way to empower your knowledge of making the BEST Video Editing Software. First of all. Let me tell you that I'm very fan of your products. Please take this comments I would like to do as a way to improve your product(s). Well one improvement that I think is very important to do in your website is to add a feature link / button that say: "User or Customer's comments, / Suggestions" etc. Customers who bought your product's wants to express their comments, lets not say comments, but suggestions on how to improve certain software / website. At the end, the customer is the one that is paying for the product you're selling, or not? It should contain like a textbox area, like an e-mail that you can put the subjet and also the note's window at the botton, pretty big enought to type and let the user express their future expertations for the development of certain software. Remember that you also depend of ideas that you can get from others to improve your work.

I think that's one of the improvements you guys should do with the website.I believe You're doing a Great!!! Job.

But Please Consider this suggestions as part of an important achievement to do to please the customer and to improve part of the Great Job you guys are doing. In the following line(s) I would give some ideas on some changes to make on Pinnacle Studio to be more perfect. (Line 30 and / or 31)

Well one improvement that I think is very important to do in your website is to add a feature link / button that say: "User or Customer's comments, / Suggestions" etc.

There is one, It's called Studio - Feature Requests  Share your requests

From your screenshot I've extrapolated what the rest of Studio's interface would be like.

It's going to be fine when they start producing 1680x1680 displays . Until then, they might have to reduce the height of the tracks.

What do all those multiple tracks look like when you try to see them on the preview panel?  If working with AVCHD, to avoid hangs or crashes, wouldn't it take a heckuva lot of CPU or else use of proxy files?  Can you possibly do a full-resolution preview of so many simultaneous video tracks, even with effects?  Is the trick to keep them very short?

Are you familiar with Studio's Montage function?  How would you rate that compared to working with 5+ video tracks?  Can you point to a typical video (YouTube, etc) that makes use of so many tracks?  Based on your screen shot, I would guess that some really amount to melt transitions of full screen tracks. 

What do you like most and least about PD8?  How stable?

I wish the competing products would hold a contest and get scored for stability, or infrequency of crashes, hangs, or file write failures.  Instead, it seems they seem to pile on more features that increase the problems.  My biggest fear is that Studio 14 will promise more features, but bring any PC to its knees, and therefore be useless, without any real makeover or fix of stability issues and bugs.  Has Cyberlink progressed in this sense?

What do you like most and least about PD8?  How stable?

That's an appalling link, just like a number you could find on this forum. The "moderator" (presumably unpaid) has lost his rag with the trolls, none of the allegations about crashes are backed up with a single recipe about how to reproduce them, and it is all hearsay. But that's what you get with forums. It is no proof of anything.

There are times when I wonder if the Internet is entirely a Good Thing. Take a look at the comments that YouTube allows to remain on their servers that are racist and homophobic (while they continue to make a fortune).  We need to use our own judgement. The opinions from people who appear to be lucky to have opposable thumbs doesn't prove anything whatsoever. When someone comes here and has done a strict A/B comparision between two programs, then I will take the posts seriously.

To that end, who is ordering a copy of Powerdirector tomorrow ?
