This has come up elsewhere. It seems the only solution is to go back to the earlier version of clipbrowser.

    G'day manu,

I can confirm that Clipbrowser 2.5 has several bugs in it, one of them is it does NOT work with Liquid 7.2 XE, you need to go back to v 2.0.

I'll third. It does not work.....Thomas, you were threatening to build an alternative to that miserable excuse for software. Any progress?

    Re: ex 3 problems

No actually I stopped working on it because the clip browser 2.5 has worked very well for me with Liquid.  In fact I haven't had any problems with it at all.

I will take a closer look at it and see if I get the same problems as you guys.  Maybe I will have to raise that project from the dead as well.

Eactly what problems are all of you having?  Can you go through the steps?

    G'day Smetvid

The problem is that if you open up Clipbrowser 2.5, export the EX3 clips using the ".mxf to NLEs (N)", then you import the clips into Liquid, they only play 9 seconds, if you check the properties the clips all have different sizes, but they only play 9 seconds.

If you use Clipbrowser 2.0, use the same procedure it is all fine, the clips play the correct length.

    G'day manu,

I googled clipbrowser 2 and found several links, some are 2.0 but most are 2.5.

I think this will work, if not contact me and I can email you it, but it is a BIG file!

    Re: ex 3 problems

I've had the same problem, so had to reinstall 2.0. Oh well, as long as it works. Hope Sony will fix it in the future.

    Re: ex 3 problems

    Hi to all

any news to that problem with clipbrowser 2.5 because in the new 2.5 version you can transcode also xdcamhd.mxf

which would help because they are not supported over xrecieve in liquid

    thanks manu
