Hi,

I have a Pinnacle Video Transfer Card which I got several years ago.  I lost my software Driver Installer for this. Can I download these from a site. Incidentaly, I'm  not a techy person and would  really would appreciate help from someone.

You are in luck!  The Pinnacle Video Transfer has nothing to do with a computer.  Therefore, there are no messy drivers to install, no hassles with downloads.  The PVT was made exactly for us non-techy types.  Enjoy life.

video card Reply Quote Delete Edit Favorites Contact I guess its not the PVT that I was referring to but a videocard. I got this a couple of yeas back, had it installed in my old PC. I used it to get videos from my videocam loaded to the hard disc of my PC and had them in CD format. I had changed to another PC but was able to retrieve that videocard. I need to use it again with the  new PC but don't have the drivers/installers to run it. Is there a way to get this to work? Thanks,

OK, I understand now.  Can't say for sure, but you should be able to get the drivers you need.  First, find out exactly what model of capture card you have.  Then, go to support (link at top of this page), and search for the product you have.  From there, you should be able to navigate to the page with drivers.  Good luck!

 

Thank you for your response. I hope you could assist me some more. I don't know the exact model of this Pinnacle video capture card. The physical appearance of the connectors/ports are : "S" video; Video RCA; "small audio PL out"; &" TV "  connector, (just like a cable TV connector) . Would you by any chance or any one in this forum happen to know the particular model??
