I know that I and many other users have spent the past year requesting features and bug fixes. So when is Pinnacle going to respond with a new release?

Are you asking for a free patch or a version 13 that you have to pay for?

Going by S11, I doubt if there wil be a further bug fix for S12. If Pinnacle are going for a yearly product cycle, S13 should be due out fairly soon - June?

What confuses all this is how development of Next Gen is going.

I don't care if it's a patch or a new release. All I know is that I downgraded from 12.1 to 12.0 several months ago because 12.1 induced more bugs than it fixed. I'm hoping reason for no further patches to 12 is because there is a major rewrite of the code. I say this because Pinnacle actually solicitied my opinion, a few months ago, about what features I would like in the next release. They actually asked what the minimum # video tracks I needed!  (there is hope) ;)

You know the number 13 will not be in the name of the next release because of superstition. LOL

I read some time-ago, that the S12 Developmrent Team were alledged to be working together with the Liquid Development Team, on NextGen.

Mon Roy seems to think that a new version of Studio is due "Later This Year"

LewS on the Liquid forum is under a NDA but has intimated a longer timeframe than that.

So I'd now speculate a further version of Studio before Nextgen arrives.
