Adding Alpha to a video clip

    Hi all,

Playing around with the alpha channels, I was wondering which method you are using to add an alpha channel to a video clip, to partially mask a part of the screen for example ? Which do you think works the best with Chrome ?

Thanks for your always enlightened input :)

To make a part of the screen transparant you cna use one of our keying editors. The clip in the underlying track will be vissible throught the transparancy. To export a clip with alpha channel set the timeline properties to RGB and Fuse the sequence. You will get a huge file but the alpha channel will still be available in the clip.
