I head during 5 years a PC with XP .I began with a full version of Studio 8 and upgrade regularly to Studio 11 Ultimate going through versions 9, 10 and 11.

I just bought a new PC with VISTA but I can't install Studio 11, nor 10, nor 9 because what I have is only "upgrade" version and not full version. How to proceed to install Studio 11 Ultimate on my new PC with Vista ?

I have a similar problem.  I have a new Vista machine, replacing the XP.  I tried to install Studio Plus, version 9.  I get to the information page and enter the key code.  My PC starts to work and the status wheel spins.  20 minutes later, it is still spinning, and status bar has not moved past about 40%.  The CD is not running.  I want to install version 9, so that I can add install the version 11 upgrade.

 Should I have uninstalled the version on my old laptop, with the CD in the drive?

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.  I don't want to have to learn Adobe Premiere, if I can help it.

1) S9 won't Install on Vista 

2) S11 will

3) Insert S11 Prog Disk & when requested to do-so, Insert S9 Prog Disk, whilst holding-down the Shift Key & carry-on.
