I just received a showcenter 200 from a friend, and am trying to get it configured. He didn't give me the pinnacle software disk (lost somewhere) so I have to use an alternative media server. 

All is installed OK -  I could stream music and most video (avi) from my PC using windows media player - no problem. But I hate the WMP interface so I tried TVersity.  It's a little better - and it showed me the option of internet streaming video.  I connected to 2 of the featured channels (sky news and geekdad). 

GeekDad episodes are Mpegs. They download and play on the showcenter - I can see the timer and hear the soundtrack, but not see the video.

Sky news is a video stream.I connect to it, it says "PLAY Sky News" then the screen goes black.

 Nasa TV connexts and plays - but it's really jerky.  My other internet downloads speeds are all OK so I don't think that's the problem.

Any suggestions would be welcome 'coz I'm stuck!
