    strange behavior in Liquid 7.2

just installed liquid on a vista64 machine. (had to purchase. xp pc bit the dust) I installed it without any trouble and didn't even read the threads on it. But I have come across some strange behavior. Anytime I try to drag a title or effect, sound clip, etc. to the timeline, I can not get it placed where I want before my mouse pointer jumps off the timeline. At first I thought it was my mouse(wireless), so I tried a wired. No change. the only way I was able to get transitions or clips in the right place was to right-click, copy from my rack, then make sure the timeline marker was in the right place and paste it. Also, I tried to post a Smartsound clip on the track under some titles and it would move the titles to the end, creating a gap on the video track other than this, LE has so far performed famously. The export to avi was exceptionally faster than on my xp. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here is my setup HP Pavillion OTB, AMD Phenom 8450 Triple Core, 4GB DDR2, V64, ATI X600 pro 256 PCIe, (While I am at the questions,. any suggestions on a new video card, I am thinking about an upgrade) (ATI HD2600xt 512mb?)

Ok, I managed to get a screen recording of what is taking place. Is there a place to post the video, so you all can actually see whats going on. Thank you in advance.

Is TDK Pro installed on your system?

    yes

Maybe this info will be helpful. The mouse pointer jumps when the item I am dragging hits a slice line. it would appear to be any slice line.

Try to work in overwrite , red mode, not yellow, film mode and see if that works better

In that case, I have no idea, you said that you made the install without reding any thread, could you read the install in Vista thread and see if there can be something that you have made different, it has worked for all others so far.

That would be my recommendations, uninstall it all and follow the install thread
