    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

    Hi ,

I have the same problem , I sent my passport and email adress to Raff Uy. My graphic card is INtel Graphic Media Accelerator X3100. I used an Acer Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2330.

When Pinnacle studio 14 starts and I try to reproduce videos, the message "you have to activate dolby 2CH encoding-decoding" appears.

Please help me!I reinstalled the programm but I have the same problem.Thank you

    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

Hi I have the same issue with Studio 14 Ultimate on Windows 7, i.e Every time I try to open a file in a project I get the message "You can activate Dolby 2 CH Encoding/Decoding". I have the same licence on another computer for Windows XP and I have never experienced this before.

Any chance of getting help with this?
    Regards
    /Eva

    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

    Hi

I have exactly the same problem with Pinnacle Studio HD.  The videos have been imported OK but when I try to open them or drag them to the timeline the Activate Dolby 2CH message comes up every time.  It's driving me nuts and it's only a small compensation that others have had the same problem.  Has anyone found a solution, or have any ideas on how to get round it?

    Thanks - Andy

"I still do not have MP3 Encoding/Decoding. Does anyone know how to obtain access codes (free or pay) for Studio 15"

    Open Studio 15

On the upper right hand corner (above preview screen) click on the chest icon. Once you click on it, you may get an error message, Click on refresh the page and fill in all necessary  information required.

You should now have a selection of effects you wish to purchase. If I am not mistaken select the third option (last one) and those should be the free activation keys for the MP3 and other effects.

I have the same problem. Can you help me too?

It seems like you moderators are able to find the needed access code for the dolby 2ch problem.  Why isn`t it available like the other codecs?

    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

    Thank you!

I have typed in the activation key, and my passport now say that I have activated the Dolby 2CH Decoding.  So far, all good...

But I still get the Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message when I try to add material into my project.

I have tried to reinstall the program, without any help.  What am I to do?

    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

By the way, is there one codec for Dolby 2CH Decoding, and another for Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding?.  My passport only refers to the Decoding part, but I can see in some previous threads that both Encoding and Decoding seem to be included.

    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

Thank you very much for that PM, Raff_Uy!

Now I have unlocked the codec that includes both encoding and decoding, and have managed to add new material into my project without any problem!

    THANK YOU!

    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

I supose this is general Avid error.

I have the same problem - after Dolby Digital 5.1 activation there is no possibility to use Dolby Digital 2CH - why?

AW: Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

    Hi Raff,

i have the same problem as many others with the Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding.

I already got a key from IngolfZ from the german forum but the problem is still the same. If i select to show the activation codes i see a code for "Dolby 2CH Decoding", but i still get the message about the Bolby 2CH.

I already completly removed the software from the computer und reinstalled everthing but still the same.

    Can you please help me?

I will send a you a PM with the necessary informations.

     Best Regards,

    Heinrich

    Re: Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

I don't think it's a good idea to switch from the German forum to the English forums and to start over again with the same issue we discussed in the German forum.

I already informed you by PM that the passport you sent me doesn't match with the passport in registration database and asked you to contact me if you have further problems.

I suggest to continue the discussion here.

    Dolby 2CH Encoding/Decoding message

    Hello,

I also purchased Pinnacle Studio HD Ultimate v 15 and I keep getting this DOLBY 2CH error. I haven't been able to get around it either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
