The middle slider part was what I was missing I couldn't get it to have any effect at all - I'll have another play with it tonight

Yes,

It's probably finger trouble - I was more looking for another pulldown menu with the on/off function but didn't spend alot of time on it - it was easier to ask you .  I managed to get it to reverse out the type but on the same timeline and as you mentioned it was an incorrect right to left deletion. Now I know where to look I'm sure I'll get it sorted - but will come back if not. Thanks

Definitly - BluffTitler was the answer.  Your clip was just perfect - better result that I could ever hope for.

I am going to buy the program, so that's not any problem.  Quite reasonable, and you can do a lot of great effects there.  So far I'm playing with the demo, and I must admit - I think I have a way to go before I can duplicate your excellent result.  Anyway - thanks to you, I now know that this CAN be done - the rest is for me to figure out how.....

(Is it possible to ask you for the *bt project ffile, so I can study it to maybe get the learning curve a little less hight ??)
