    Getting the same message.

As bittmann stated earlier, I think this is te be seen as a good sign as it looks like one is busy working on it.

The access to the old forum is restricted for internal use only actually.

I happen to have a backup of that thread.

Topic started on Oct 31, 2003
    Topic Subject: PROM upgrade??
    Topic contains only 2 posts.

    Post 1: Oct 31, 2003 - 16:02

When booting-up Deko 500 on computer system, warning message states: "The PROM on your system appears to need upgrading. Click Cancel to Exit, OK to Continue."
Clicking "OK" just locks up the computer
Clicking "Cancel" just aborts the launch of the Deko program.
Any ideas about this... its cause... its solution.
Also, the program came on a computer which is running Windows NT 4.0. Is there a version of Deko that will run on Win2000 Professional? or (XP?--perish the thought)
    Thanks for any ideas, suggestions

    Hi there,
We had the same problem at our site with a Deko500, and we
had to take it apart, take out the video IO board and use some
pressurized air to clean it out. Once we put the board back
together and put it back in the system, the Deko software started
    up fine.....

    Hope this helps.

Dear Bittman for my problem: 10.7 patch does not install because : " not valid for trial version" even when I have a duly registered 10.6 version, I was told to look for a solution in the old S10 forum which I do not find.  Today I saw a link: webboard.pinnaclesys.com but my forum  user and /or password does'nt seem valid for this link

I guess we can kiss it goodbye. Sad

(While I'm at it , I can kiss the old knowledgebase goodbye too)
