Best process for cleaning up old projects

When it's time to remove a project permanently from my PC. I start with AL7.2 "Project manager" and perform a "delete project". Howver this leaves tons of artifacts in various directories that take up considerable storage. Is there a better process or a recommended set of steps to finding and cleaning up all the artifacts? Thanks Regards, Art

If you use the delete project option. Two tick boxes are availeble.

    1) Delete media (this ticked will remove all related media from your system)

    2) Delete render files (which will delete all render files)

After this no files should be remaining. An exception could be if you import media with the LINK option. As those files become not really part of the project, and only the shortcut (LINK) to the media will be removed.

At the media folder of yours just browse inside any folder and delete everything that has the name of the project.

I do it all the time to save space. And of course the render files.

You'll almost surely need to manually delete the render files.  Liquid doesn't delete them all even when you select to delete render files.  If you've exported DVDs from the project, the render files for those exports will remain.  Additionally, if you don't need the ISO images or Video_TS folders from your DVD exports you can delete those.
