You can put the preview screen on one monitor, and leave the Studio UI on the other. That's fairly straightforward.
Stretching the Studio UI across both monitors? I don't know if that's impossible, but it doesn't necessarily sound as nice to me as the larger preview window does...
I used Studio 10 in a dual-monitor situation for a while, but eventually fell back to single-monitor just because it was quicker (for me) to work all on one 21", 1600x1200 screen -- and I've stuck there even in S11, out of habit more than anything else. If you're running a lower resolution, though, the extra real-estate would definitely come in handy.
So, the "using two monitors" is an "already does", I think.
The alarm thing? Definitely an idea that I'll support.
The CPU and memory usage display from within Studio? Why not use Windows Task Manager to see memory and CPU usage?
